About Us

LWDanceworks is situated in the heart of Calderdale and was established in 2011 by Laura Sheriffe.

We welcome students from all different types  of performing arts backgrounds whether it be someone who has previous training to someone who has never performed before.

Laura Sheriffe's vison was to offer students in and around the surrounding area of Halifax the chance to perform and recieve a high standard of training.

At LWDanceworks our aim is to nourish the creative spirit of our students whilst encouraging them to develop as performers in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

Over the past couple of years LWDanceworks has become one of the leading training grounds for performing arts in Halifax. The hallmark of this has been the warm, friendly, helpful atmosphere that is created and of course the first class studios that we use.
